10/15/2011 - "Plane Pull" Festival at BTR Airport!

Feats of strength at Plane Pull: The Arc Baton Rouge presents its second annual "Plane Pull" festival and competition this weekend. The event is the biggest fundraiser for the Arc, which provides services for children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Come out to the Baton Rouge Metro Airport and watch teams try to pull a 150,000 lb. 727 jet. While you’re there, partake in some of the other cool events going on, including a jambalaya cook-off, motorcycle show, art booths and live music. 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Visit arcbatonrouge.org for details.
